Hormel Mel Jorell was born on Nov 23, 2005.  While reading the morning's paper I noticed an article about a game where some entrepreneur (obviously insane) had paid $100,000 for a virtual space resort.  There was more verbiage about making real money, etc....and after talkin about it for a bit with my 13 year old son, we decided to check out Project Entropia.  It was approximately 23.4 seconds later (that's the great care with which we created our avatars) that we were rambling about on calypso.  To our chagrin, we had been separated during our space passage, and disembarked at different cities....he at Argus, and I and PA.  It took a week before we saw each other in game.

As the orange suit life goes, made some friends, duplicated one of the noob worst mistakes by creating our own society filled with inexperience and lacking any knowledge.  I say it was a mistake, but only from game advancement standpoint....we laughed, we cried, it became a part of us.  After a year, it was apparent that it was past time to move to a soc with active membership, knowledge, experience, and longevity.  Being accepted to HU, getting to know the members, sharing the same addiction (err, obsession, err, love of the game, that's it!) has been a great experience.

I have developed a marvelous love/hate relationship with Lootius that seems mutual.  I have not been the luckiest, nor the most unlucky av in EU, but Lootius seems to nurture me when I need it.  Highlights have been sharing an ATH from Hogglo with 2 good friends, and a nice tower of belk (and yes, I love towers and want more).

I'm probably older than most in EU, being 51, but am still just a kid at heart...been a computer geek for years.  Am usually playing at least once per day.  My favorite activity is just prowling around the more remote areas of Calypso, hunting and mining together.  I'm a pretty eco player, keep track of my peds, and look forward to years more of Entropia fun.  I live in US, Oregon...probably always will.  May Lootius bless.
