Vedr Vedder Maserate I think I joined PE in 2004 or 2005... Not quite sure, but it was around the time ND bought the asteroid, or Death purchased TI. I think. First year or so, I just sweated and hunted with D-1 and Mann Mph etc. After a while I started depositing and wasted a lot of peds on bigger gear.  I also mined and crafted some, but mostly hunted. I didn't join a soc until I had played for several years, but eventually joined my first: Zychion Citizens. Until that point, I really wasn't interested in the social aspect of PE, and very rarely team hunted. I did chat a bit in global chat, but otherwise it was pretty much a single player game for me. Over the years I increased my monthly "investments" as well as gear and skills, until I in my last year or two started to pretty much break even on my hunting. A few years ago I finally got a bit bored, and needed some money IRL, so I decided to sell out. Turned out I made quite a nice profit overall. I rarely changed soc, so haven't been in a lot of them. I spend my last couple of years in Via Dolorosa, where I was much more social, and loved to be in a soc with lotsa nice and active people. The last couple of years until I sold out, we soc hunted a lot in ViaDolorose, and it was great fun. I think everybody in ViaD had ML-35 or better guns, so 10 of us could take almost anything down before it reached us. We had a lot of fun with the big spiders. Miss those days. After selling my gear and the skills with decent MU, the game got quite a lot more boring. I tried some different newbie socs, but I eventually quit EU entirely, except for logging in now and then to keep my account alive. I started playing again a month or two ago, and am planning to stay as long as I'm having fun, which I do a lot atm.  So many new and shiny things. Almost like the first time I started.I pretty much stick to hunting, and doing some missions now. |
